Spring floral design workshop

Last night I had the opportunity to lead a spring flower arranging workshop at Jenkin's Arboretum, one of my favorite places (and if you haven't been there you should go check it out!).  A lovely group of ladies attended, and they showed some impressive floral design talent.

Here's my "sample"...

my arrangement

We started out with some of my favorite mossy pots, and a selection of spring flowers.  Lavender larkspur, light blue delphinium, lavender stock, pink lisianthus, peach lilies, heather and waxflower.

The process...

And here are some of the ladies' finished designs...

Don't they look great?!  All the arrangements turned out beautifully. It's always such a thrill to see how everyone starts out with the same "ingredients", and the same basic design idea, and how each arrangement takes on a different personality, as each person adds their own artistry.  I'm always impressed!

I really enjoyed this workshop, thank you to Jenkin's, and to those who attended.  Hope you all enjoy your beautiful spring creations!

  1. Decide what you would like to utilize for the room, and see if you're able to use another room to find ready, particularly if you're a woman, and have lots of nursing supplies! If you are curious to know more about christmas decor, check here.

  3. A home renovation is a very big and costly endeavor and many people prefer to go in for a home remodeling job when they can afford it.
