Tree peony, snapdragon, viburnum and sweet pea

Kwanzan cherry, tree peony, hydrangea, viburnum and spirea

Elissa picked this fabulous, fun fabric that they made into runners for the very long tables.  We loved it!

A lovely spring wedding. Congratulations to a very nice couple!

Wedding at Ridley Creek

I wanted to share a few pictures of flowers we provided for a wedding at The Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park this past August.  I love Ridley Creek, with it's fabulous outdoor spaces, and the beautiful mansion that reminds me of a gothic English estate, like something out of Jane Eyre - one of my most favorite novels of all time!

Isn't it just so yummy?!  All that beautiful stone.

ceremony site

The ceremony took place on these beautiful stone steps, and we decorated the ballustrade above with a garland of greenery, hydrangea and roses.

High centerpiece
High centerpieces were arranged a top tall gold stands, provided by lovely wedding planner Becky, of Simply Chic Events.  The base was surrounded by fresh green moss, and candles in small mason jars were tucked into the top of the centerpiece, as well as around the base.

Low centerpiece

Low centerpieces consisted of a trio of mason jars, in varying sizes, filled with hydrangea, peach stock, sahara roses and queen anne's lace, surrounded by smaller mason and jelly jars with votive candles, and of course, more moss.

Look at these fabulous moss table numbers Becky attached to the arrangements!  I do love anything "mossy"!

Sweet arrangements in mason jars hanging from short shepherd's hooks lined the aisle for the ceremony

And, the beautiful bridal bouquet, in a quick pic before we left the shop!

How gorgeous is this "secret garden"?

I just had to stop to visit with the frogs dwelling in an old fountain

Yes, I'm definitely a sucker for moss.  Look at this delicious specimen...
And ferns, just can't get enough!!!

A beautiful spot and a beautiful wedding!

Flowers for Sarah and Brian

A few weeks ago we had the opportunity to put together a fun bridal bouquet and boutonniere for a very nice couple, Sarah and Brian.  Not too "flowery", just lots of interesting textures, succulents, pods and berries, in shades of orange, yellow and touches of silvery gray.

A variety of succulents, orange dahlias, craspedia, berzellia, gomphrena, and scabiosa pods made up the bouquet

The boutonniere consisted of a small succulent, dahlia bud, gomphrena, scabiosa pod, berzillia berries, hypericum berry and seeded eucalyptus
Congratulations Sarah and Brian!  I loved your flowers!
